The Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate timepiece sets the scene for the couple’s tryst in a new décor. Taking its inspiration from a charming setting reminiscent of the Parisian guinguettes of the 19th century, an open-air dance café typical of Paris’s surrounding areas, the two lovers get closer together for a kiss at noon and midnight, and on-demand, thanks to an automaton movement.
